Once a heart opens, the lies underneath start showing up. Most conflict isn't really about the argument on the surface. It's an identity war running underneath, some belief about who a person is or isn't that's been driving them for years without them noticing. Renewing Your Mind teaches someone to find that lie and hold it up against the truth.
And once a lie gets exposed, conflict rises to the surface instead of staying buried. That's not a setback. That's the moment the real work can start. Conflict to Connection teaches someone to walk through that conflict instead of around it, and come out closer on the other side than they started.

The thread underneath all three
Connection is hard because we were separated from God and from each other. Beliefs resist renewal because the old identity is still active. Conflict escalates because we're defending a self we're no longer required to defend.
Each course works a different surface of the same question: who am I now, in Christ? That's why a church that moves through all three ends up with more than three completed studies. They build a shared language, a shared practice, and a shared experience of being known.

These three courses came later. We taught them in our own classroom in Cincinnati for years, revised them session by session, and watched what happened in real rooms before we ever handed them to another instructor. What you're getting isn't a first draft. It's what survived.
Here's the split
You bring the room. We bring everything else.

What it takes to run one
Each course works two ways. As a single intensive day, which is how we run them. Or across multiple sessions, four for Creating Connection and six for the other two, which is how most churches run them, because it fits how small groups already meet and gives people a week between sessions to try the skill on a real relationship.
What this won't do
It won't fix a person in a day. The old self gets put off repeatedly, not removed by a single insight.
It also isn't for a group that wants to listen to a teacher for an hour. Most of the time in all three courses is spent practicing out loud with other people. If your group isn't ready for that, wait until they are.

Yes. You don't need a counseling background, a seminary degree, or prior teaching experience. Every guide is built for a first-time leader, and most people who've never taught anything before have led this material successfully.
