When you look in your mirror, the face staring back at you is the face of a spiritual VIP. You may not preach like Billy Graham, or have a dramatic life story like Corrie ten Boom, or have led a world changing social movement like Martin Luther King. But, God made you to be a VERY INSPIRING PERSON.

God inspires (breathes into you) to encourage, refresh, and help you put your faith into action in many ways, but whatever accomplishments are or aren't listed in your spiritual resume, you are a very important person in God's plan.

In 2 Timothy 1:9 the Apostle Paul explained that God saved us and called us to live inspiring lives, "He did it, not because we deserved it, but because it was His plan from before the beginning of time."

Perhaps you've been called to inspire your own family or the children of others. Maybe you've been called to inspire the people in the marketplace. Or there's a good chance that you've given to or volunteered with EMI to equip God's people to serve in your church, to reach out in your town, or to inspire laborers on faraway mission fields.

Wherever you've been called and however you've served, I'll bet you can relate to what volunteers who worked with Mother Teresa once jokingly told her:

"We, the unwilling, led by the unknown, are doing the impossible for the ungrateful. We have done so much, for so long, with so little, we are now qualified to do anything with nothing."

We thank God for all our friends who have been doing so much, for so long, with so little - and making so big a difference!

As C.S. Lewis said, "There are no ordinary people." That hard working person reflected in your mirror is a V.I.P in God's book and in ours. We appreciate you and hope to see you at the Cincinnati Homecoming October 2nd!
