School of Service (SOS)

How do we equip the saints overseas?

Our passion is to work strategically with those laboring in frontline churches and mission fields--to equip, support, encourage and build up the Body of Christ world-wide.

The problem we seek to impact is 95% of the world's Christian workers being given little or no practical equipping for ministry. They lack effective preparation, which has resulted in a high rate of burnout, broken marriages, moral failures and disappointingly fruitless ministries. (per The Center for World Missions)

The challenge is to find a way to underwrite the cost, for those who need training most desperately are often the least able to afford the necessary costs of training and accommodations. Our donors and volunteers have stepped forward to help defray costs for those who are able to provide their own travel to Cincinnati, Ohio, USA.

Our plan is to focus on training a core team of 2-3 leaders who can then take the materials and training back home and multiply our scattered seeds a hundred and even a thousand fold. SOS is designed to provide concentrated training in 8 of our courses over 7 days.

We provide housing, training materials, and most meals.

To submit an application for consideration, please complete the SOS application.

Our mission is to equip those who equip others. Our training focuses on healthy relationship skills for life and ministry. To bring deeper experience of God, healing, renewed thinking and more skill to small group leaders, pastors and teachers.

Our International School of Service is held over one week, teaching 8 of our
courses, including:

  • Quick to Listen Leaders
  • Listening for Heaven's Sake
  • Speaking the Truth in Love
  • Renewing the Mind
  • Confronting Conflict
